UITP Asia-Pacific is jointly organising another webinar with UITP India and UITP Australia-New Zealand on Responsive Public Transport in Disruption (Crisis and Peace Time) on 3 April 2024 between 13:30-15:00 Hong Kong time (UTC+8).

In the ever-evolving landscape of urban mobility, adaptability and preparedness is the key to overcoming natural disasters, increasing climate-related events, and other unforeseen challenges to create resilient public transport systems. In the face of these frequent disruptions, it is imperative for public transport stakeholders to proactively understand and prepare for any eventualities.

This 90-minute intensive webinar aims to explore how public transport systems in Asia-Pacific and worldwide are responding to disruptions to ensure seamless and reliable services for commuters even in challenging times. We are bringing together expert speakers from Authorities, Operators and other key stakeholders of the industry to share their insights.

Join our webinar to gain perspectives from global experts for some practical understanding and case studies to enhance the responsiveness of public transport systems in your region.

Some of the topical discussions that the webinar looks forward to address are:

  1. Threat and Vulnerability Dangers in Public Transport- A New York Story
  2. Role of Public Transport in Risk Management and Emergency Preparedness from Natural Disasters
  3. Revolutionizing Public Transport: Leveraging Tech and Data to Improve Business Continuity Through Advance Responsiveness
  4. Role of Government Policies in Fostering Crisis Response and Adaptability for Public Transport- Singapore’s Perspective
