UITP Asia-Pacific is jointly organising the 3rd webinar together with UITP India on “Sustainable Cities and Mobility” on 31 August at 13:00-14.30 Hong Kong time (UTC+8).

We know that sustainable urban mobility plays a key role for cities in tackling global, economic and societal challenges. But what exactly are those challenges? And how can cities tackle them with sustainable transport?

So, to discuss further, together with our subject experts, we are organising this webinar on Sustainable Cities and Mobility to understand the importance of multimodal transit hubs, need for governance and planning regulations for integrated mobility systems, what are challenges for sustainable urban mobility and successful practices from our community.

This webinar will provide some insights on the right mechanisms to plan, support and manage the mobility system, and how many cities are now integrating land-use and mobility planning.

This webinar will address the following topics:

  1. Governance and Planning for Integrated Mobility Systems
  2. Multimodal Transit Hubs
  3. Transit Oriented Development
  4. Low Emission Zones
  5. Financing and Funding for Sustainable Public Transport

    Simultaneous Interpretation (SI) from English to Chinese will be provided during this webinar.

    Registration to the webinar is free but registration is required in advance.

    The webinar is only for UITP members.  However, limited seats may be provided to non-members on a discretionary basis.  If you are a member, you will receive an email with a link to connect to the webinar in due course. For non-members, we shall confirm your attendance under separate cover a few days before the event.
