UITP Academy is organising a series of webinars in the framework of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak. They aim to assist public transport companies in tailoring business continuity plans responding to the specific challenges of communicable diseases.
This week’s webinar will focus on restarting public transport after the lockdown. It will address the challenges and experience associated with restarting operations in line with the government’s lockdown lifting polices.
The webinar will look into:
- Lifting strategies adopted by governments that set the context for restarting operations;
- Preparation and re-start plans made by operators and practical experience;
- Reflections on the long term impact of the pandemic on the public transport sector.
This 90 minutes (maximum) webinar in English is free of charge and only available to UITP members. Non UITP-members will be able to access the recording of the webinar afterwards in MyLibrary.
