EU green week is here! Join UITP at Schuman metro station

EU Green Week 2022 is officially here! This year, the theme focuses on ‘European Green Deal – Make it Real’.

At UITP, we know our sector is crucial to achieve the Green Deal objectives.

In this context, UITP has arranged a pop-up stand in the heart of the EU quarter in Brussels, at Schuman metro station, showcasing the many benefits of public transport.

Last year, UITP Europe launched a digizine on the benefits of public transport presenting clearly how our sector can help in ensuring clean air; a boosted economy; local job creation; accessibility and affordability; healthy, active lifestyles; innovation and much more.

For this year’s Green Week, we want to reach an even wider audience in presenting this information. And what better spot to do this than one of Brussels’ busiest metro stations?

You can visit the UITP stand at Schuman metro station in Brussels from 1 to 3 June. If you’re interested in public transport and its benefits, or just wishing to learn more, join us for a relaxed atmosphere. We also have a photobooth and small UITP giveaways!

Key UITP experts will also be present to give more details about the benefits of public transport and answer any questions visitors may have.

The opening hours of the stand are as follows:

• 1 June: 10:30 to 17:30
• 2 June: 8:30 to 17:30
• 3 June: 8:30 to 12:00
