Joseph Kopser will be the closing keynote speaker at the MENA Transport Congress & Exhibition event to take place in Dubai from 25-27 April 2016. He is the CEO and co-founder of RideScout, a US-based technology company that has developed an app allowing users to check all transportation options including times and costs near them. RideScout is now present in over 69 cities in the US and Canada.
Thanks to his background in Aerospace Engineering and a Master’s degree from Harvard, Joseph Kopser will bring his expertise in technology in traditional transportation to the MENA Congress & Exhibition. He will discuss how urban mobility is becoming more connected than ever before and how cities all over the world can stay ahead of the curve.
“It’s an amazing time for cities around the world, especially in the Middle East and North Africa; some of the fastest growing and largest cities are in those regions. Traditional transportation, or public transport, fits into this new world of mobility first and foremost because it has the infrastructure. What we have to do though is to move into the future. New technologies merging with traditional public transportation provide smart riders the ability to predict if the train is late, or if the bus is on time. These are the technologies that need to be embraced as we move into the 21st century.”
