Social dialogue in CEE countries

The European social partners of the urban public transport sector: UITP, the European Transport Workers’ Federation (ETF) and EVA Akademie, collaborated together to support the social dialogue in Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries. It was done through joint seminars to exchange experience and information between experts and social partners in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovenia and Serbia. As the ultimate goal, the project aimed to strengthen the capacity of social partners to develop the national social dialogue as well as to improve the knowledge of the European social partners about national concerns and demands in the countries.

Social dialogue in CEE countries was coordinated by UITP.
