SUMI offers technical assistance to selected urban areas for the pilot application of a pre-defned set of sustainable urban mobility indicators. The indicators are ofcially endorsed by the European Commission and based on the «SMP2.0 Sustainable Mobility Indicators» developed by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD). Through this process, the European Commission aims at applying and improving the set of indicators in order to support cities in evaluating their mobility system. Additionally, the cities can track the impact of their policies through a harmonised and widely accepted approach.

The SUMI project invites you to save the date for the launch of its online training course on sustainable urban mobility indicators. The course is aimed at representatives of urban areas who would like to measure and track the performance of sustainable mobility in their cities and mobility professionals who would like to better understand the collection of urban mobility data.
Experienced tutors will provide insight to familiarise participants with the SUMI indicator set and to offer guidance in the process of applying the indicators with real-world examples. During the course, experts will be on hand to answer any questions participants may have about the indicators. Participants will also be able to access online course materials and an online forum at any point after the course finishes.
The eCourse will be launched on 18 November and will be active until 13 December. Participants can access the course on the Rupprecht Consult eLearning Platform.
