  • It is a 0.2 mile/5 min. walk from the New Brunswick train station to the Hyatt hotel. From where the train station drops off to the hotel is approximately 3 blocks, and there are sidewalks the entire way.

Transportation

  • For those participants arriving via public transportation, there are Rutgers buses that go from College Avenue Campus (approximately 3 blocks from the New Brunswick Train Station) to the Busch Campus student center (located next to the CAIT building). If you would like to take the bus, the Rutgers A Bus and H Bus go from The Yard (College Avenue Campus) to Busch Student Center.
  • These buses are operated by Rutgers University for students but are open and free of charge to all members of the public. They run all day starting at 6am. The Rutgers University IOS app provides a live bus schedule and arrival times at each stop on campus.
  • For those participants staying in the Hyatt Regency hotel in New Brunswick, the train station is adjacent to the hotel. Transportation will be available from the nearby College Avenue campus station to Busch Campus/the CAIT building.

Parking

  • There are several university parking lots available in front of and adjacent to the CAIT building on Rutgers campus. The lots are monitored by campus police. All vehicles parked on campus require registration via the Special Event Parking Link shared with you after signing up for the course.
  • Program participants driving to CAIT–Rutgers will be required to register their vehicle as part of the registration process. The vehicle make, model, color, and tag number will be provided to campus police.
  • For those participants who are not able to register their vehicles prior to program date, they can do so upon arrival at CAIT in person at the start of the program.

Airport

  • Closest airport to New Brunswick in Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). It is approximately 25 miles from the airport to New Brunswick.
  • NJ Transit trains are available from the airport to New Brunswick.
  • The hotels in New Brunswick are adjacent to the train station.

Some Amtrak trains along the northeastern corridor stop at the New Brunswick train station in New Jersey.
