UITP Academy is launching an online course on Governance, Sustainability & Valuation in Data Sharing for Public Transport starting on 19 April 2022 and ending on 26 April 2022. The course features 8 interactive online sessions, international case studies and workshops.

UITP AP CTE published ‘Sharing of data in public transport – Value, Governance and Sustainability’. The study consulted over 100 public transport and data professionals and uncovered that there are skill gaps in organisations that pose opportunities for UITP to develop a training programme.

The training programme aims to help participants to:

  • Understand the challenges and regulatory risks with data sharing
  • Understand how to view data sharing through an economic lens of value
  • Explain the important elements in establishing a data sharing business model
