About

Objective

UITP is organising an online conference entitled ‘What is the role of public transport in the Sustainable and Smart Mobility Strategy?’, taking place on 26 October from 10.30 to 12.00.

The objective of the event will be to present UITP’s input to the upcoming Strategy on Smart and Sustainable Mobility which will be presented by the European Commission at the end of this year.

The Strategy will outline the Commission’s approach to mobility and transport for the next decade. At UITP, we are looking forward to this upcoming strategy which needs to be bolder and more ambitious than any previous strategies in order to turn the transport sector around and make it Green Deal compatible.

We will present our vision for the future of urban and regional transport and our 25 recommendations in order to make daily mobility Green Deal compatible, resilient and socially sound.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to discuss about the future of public transport with our key experts, public transport operators and authorities, representatives from the industry and from the European Institutions.
