UITP Asia-Pacific Annual Meeting Gave Its Online Debuted

Last Thursday, we have completed an exclusive event for members, this is the first time we organise Asia-Pacific Annual Meeting online.

Under the theme of “Co-existence with Coronavirus – Post COVID-19”, we gathered 108 participants across 15 cities to focus on how public transport service providers continue to plan and operate not only during the “lockdown” period and after the restrictive measures are lifted.

In addition, our regional Centre For Excellence delivered the findings of a research project with professional advisors and other key players in encouraging data sharing in public transport. To round up the 3-hour e-meeting, we also provided the latest updates on UITP APURP and APOAP working platforms, global work programme and Asia-Pacific activities in the near future.
