When the 2022 edition of IT-TRANS arrives, it will be the eight gathering to discuss the digital revolution transforming urban mobility.

Since 2008, public transport has changed a great deal with more than a decade’s worth of innovation revolutionising our sector.

Next year (8-10 March), the pioneering concepts and digital trends will be part of our hybrid Conference programme.

IT-TRANS has always been at the beating heart of these exciting changes and the next edition’s programme will showcase our key themes and topics.

    The digital revolution moves quickly, and the 2022 Conference programme and speakers list will reflect the innovation in our sector.

    By focusing on the real challenges public transport faces, the programme will feature 3 Plenary Sessions, 15 Parallel Sessions, 8 Workshops, E-Poster Sessions, Market Updates, Technical Visits and Social and Networking Events.

    Across three days of innovation

    Beginning on 8 March, we will have three full days of interesting and innovate content right across our programme.

    Our entire key topics and themes will be covered by international speakers, making sure that the latest trends and developments are discussed for the future.

    Day 1 will host topics such as MaaS, Big Data, planning and scheduling, contactless ticketing and the digital expectations of a new generation of passengers…

    Day 2 will bring to the forefront data sharing, on-demand and flexible transport, procurement and tendering and looking at how the digital transformation will alter the future of mobility.

    Then on Day 3 we will tackle the cybersecurity threats in the digital era, look at driving innovation with start-ups and how our cities can adapt to new mobility and urban space.

    Our 2020 edition took place in the virtual world as we all continued to adapt to the ongoing pandemic.

    For the eight edition, we will be hosting a hybrid format, with many exciting and innovative in-person activities.

    Within our three-day programme, we will have onsite, online and hybrid gatherings, with something for everyone…no matter how you join us.

    We expect more than 270 exhibitors from 35 countries to showcase their latest innovations, alongside our impressive conference programme with more than 180 speakers in over 45 sessions.

    In order to get ready for the next IT-TRANS, we have launched a series of free webinars to provide you with useful insights into the latest trends on autonomous mobility, innovation and contactless ticketing. For those you may have missed, you can watch the recordings online!
